The successful candidate for Manufacturing Engineer will perform the following duties:

  • Develops a manufacturing process by designing and applying knowledge of product, materials, assembly, tooling, and inspection; conferring with vendors; soliciting input from operators and having the understanding of cost impacts.
  • Programming 3 & 4 axis CNC Machining Centers machines and CNC Turning Centers (G-Code Specific) using MasterCam X7
  • Documenting processes and creating operation sketches using AutoCAD
  • Assures product and process quality by developing robust and conforming processes with concise work instructions complemented by designing tools, fixtures & inspection methods.
  • Prove out and trouble shoot processes as needed
  • Maintains product and process databases
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

The successful candidate for Manufacturing Engineer will have the following qualifications:

  • BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree with a minimum of 7+ years experience as a manufacturing engineer in an aerospace manufacturing environment or a combination of education and experience.
  • Strong skills with Mastercam
  • Strong skills with Solid Works CAD/CAM modeling.
  • Strong skills using and understanding geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Lean Manufacturing experience
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills required
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and listening
  • Must be a team player, willing to pitch in and help other team members when needed
  • CMM programming with Calypso is a definite plus
  • Performing PFEMA and PPAP’s a definite plus

  • Experience working in an AS9100/ISO9001 environment
  • Excellent attention to detail

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the aerospace industry

GRINDING MACHINIST / MACHINE OPERATOR

Grinding Machinist on our first shift to help lead and grow the business. We offer

The Grinding Machinist / Machine Operator is responsible for the timely and accurate
set-up and operation of Grinding Machines. Experience with manual grinding is a
definite must as well as experience in a lean environment within the commercial and
aerospace industries.

Grinding Machinist / Grinding Machine Operator

Experience desired:

  • Minimum 10 years Set-up/operate Grinding Machines
  • Capable of grinding 1 pc lot quantities when necessary
  • Good blueprint reading skills
  • Basic understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Experience working in an AS9100/ISO environment
  • Self-motivated individual with the desire to continually improve

Job Requirements:

  • Work to very close tolerances (i.e. +/-.0002 in.)
  • Able to work 45-55 hrs /week, plus Saturdays when necessary
  • High level of focus and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, climb/balance, squat/kneel/crouch/ and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Set-up/operate Surface and O.D. grinding machines
  • Materials include Stainless, Low carbon, and Tool steels
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision
